Attractive Employer

Attractive Employer - where the ambassadors are in your organisation

The Attractive Employer Analysis gives your organisation solid advice on the issues which should be addressed in order to increase the power of attraction within the whole organisation and across all groups.

Through the Attractive Employer Analysis, you can see how many ambassadors you have in the company, i.e. employees and managers who would recommend your company as an employer. Our Employer Brand-benchmark shows where you are in comparison to other organisations in the same sector, of the same size as your organisation or with the same professional categories as your organisation.

When Netsurvey analyses your organisation's results, the employer branding issue is broken down into different background variables, for example, such as gender, year of recruitment and professional category.

By comparing the result of the Attractive Employer Analysis with the replies from the employee survey, you get a clear picture of the issues which drive your internal employer brand.

Attractive Employer - Internal Employer Branding, the key to retaining and attracting the right skills

Organisations today retain and attract skilled personnel by working with the internal employer branding value, i.e. how attractive the organisation is as an employer. How attractive your organisation is as an employer is measured simply by adding one question to the employee survey. As a client of Netsurvey, you get a benchmark value which shows where your organisation is in comparison with other similar companies. The value motivates continuous improvements which increase your internal employer brand, which, in turn, leads to your organisation becoming an attractive employer who attracts talent.

Net Promotor Score (NPS) - the question which measures internal employer branding

Net Promotor Score (NPS) is identified as the question which is asked of the workforce when the issue is:

"How likely is it that you would recommend Company X as a workplace to a friend?"

Net Promoter Score measures how many ambassadors (promoters) you have within the company. NPS can vary between -100 and +100. The result gives an excellent benchmark, both internally and externally.

Netsurvey's Attractive Employer Index gives your organisation:

  • The opportunity to increase its power of attraction across the organisation and for all groups.
  • The basis for external communication in order to attract skills.
  • Information about departments and groups with individuals who are good ambassadors for the organisation.
  • Benchmarking - internal and external.
  • Simple reporting on a hierarchical level or against background variables.
  • Clear and simple goals for increased power of attraction as an employer.

Attractive Employer, how attractive is your organisation as an employer? - this is how it works

The question, "How likely is it that you would recommend Company X as a place of work to a friend?", is put to the workforce, for example, as part of the employee survey. The replies are compiled by Netsurvey and you, as the client, receive an NPS-value. The value shows how attractive your organisation is as an employer. Afterwards, Netsurvey analyses how different groups in your organisation see your organisation as an employer, and how they differ. Depending on how your organisation is structured, we analyse, for example, by geographical distribution, your area of operation and your various functions. Then, we look at background variables, such as gender, year of recruitment, professional category or academic background. You get a clear picture of the views of different groups of your employer brand, and advice on what are the most important issues, in order to become an employer which can attract and retain skilled personnel.

The background to Netsurvey's Employer Branding work and Netsurvey's Attractive Employer Index

During 2008, several of Netsurvey's clients researched their internal power of attraction by asking their workforce whether they would recommend the organisation as a place of work to a friend.

Interest in the question was high and Netsurvey had the opportunity to analyse more deeply, where we obtained valuable information which was of great use to our clients.

We have drawn some exceedingly interesting conclusions. A good example of this is the fact that we can see that employees begin to lose their belief in their employer, after their initial enthusiasm as new employees. The challenge lies in making sure not to lose the belief of new employees in their employer. By continually evaluating and working with your internal power of attraction, your organisation is able to retain valuable skills within the company and also strengthen its external power of attraction and brand.
