Employee Survey

Netsurvey are specialists in employee surveys

Netsurvey's employee surveys are used right around the clock, right around the world. Our success depends greatly on the fact that the effects of employee surveys lead to solid and tangible improvements right across the company.

This is the difference between Netsurvey's employee surveys, and others:

Employee surveys with the focus on making things happen.

Many employees and managers who want to change their working situation, above all, want small day-to-day adjustments which simplify their work and develop relations within the group. These are changes that the manager can make together with their employees, based on the information in the report from your employee survey. It's therefore important that the questions in an employee survey are about day-to-day work and are focused on action. Our tools are educational, so that the managers are able to feedback the results to the workforce and quickly conclude which activities you need to carry out in order to develop the workplace climate.

All parts of the employee survey are coupled with profitability

In order to help managers to prioritise between strengths or areas for development, all Netsurvey's products build upon a link to profitability. With a method linked to profitability, you get the questions in the report in order of priority linked to what has the most influence over profitability. The result is shown in Netsurvey's smart reports, which calculate each group's strengths and areas for development, so that you and your colleagues arrive at the issues you need to work on.

The senior management presentation, linking to the company's strategic agenda

If your employee survey is to lead to change, the senior management must also be involved. By linking the results of the employee survey to your strategic agenda, it's simpler for the senior management to commit themselves and follow the results. The analysis presentation which Netsurvey carries out often gives rise to interesting discussions, where explanations are offered as to why one proportion of the strategic goals is more challenging than others.

Time and cost effective process for carrying out an employee survey

With a well tested process which is adapted to both small and large employee surveys, Netsurvey has made this work efficent to carry out for the customer. The process includes:

  • Startup work
  • Production, data collection and reporting
  • Analysis & Presentation to Senior Management
  • Feedback and next steps
  • Follow up

Employee surveys since 1982

The process that Netsurvey uses for employee surveys is one which we took over from Hessner & Bolinder in 1998. The first version of the employee survey was launched by Hessner & Bolinder as far back as 1982, who worked continually to develop their methods. Already, the focus was on supporting line managers by formulating simple and straight questions which were action-focused.          Over time, a database was developed which included many replies to similar questions. With the support of the Institute of Statistics and the University of Stockholm, a number of statistical tests were carried out for the first time in 1992, which showed a clear link between workplace climate and profitability. This is the background to the "Employee Satisfaction Index" which Netsurvey took over in 1998, and which we have continually developed further. Netsurvey has tested the link between workplace climate and profitability on several occasions within different projects, with students from the Stockholm School of Economics in order to update methods, questions and guide values.
